Funding Opportunities

The CFAR Developmental Core provides funding to junior faculty throughout the year through the CFAR Scholar Grants for Faculty Development:

• $50,000 pilot grants for HIV research.
• Awardees must currently be junior faculty members at Johns Hopkins University and must also meet the definition of NIH new investigators.
• The prime purpose of these awards is to strengthen the individual's ability to secure independent NIH research funding with foci in R and K series awards.
