Please join the CFAR Prevention Core for our inaugural Data Mart!

The Data Mart is an alternative to the Data Fair. The Data Mart will take place quarterly and will feature established research platforms (both international and domestic) which offer many opportunities for faculty collaboration.

Rakai Health Sciences Program, Uganda

Come learn about program aims, preliminary findings and opportunities for future collaboration and sharing of expertise.

Opportunities include:

  • HIV spatial and network dynamics
  • Analyses of phylogenetic data
  • HIV epidemic modelling
  • Implementation research on peer counselors, use of technologies for improving adherence,  and  on  demand generation for combined HIV prevention. Demand creation circumcision services and evaluation
  • Clinical data on disease progression, treatment cascade
  • Combination HIV prevention services and impact evaluation
  • Basic lab research:  Over 500,000 stored sera and other samples that can be used for HIV, STI, other infections and  non-communicable disease studies.
  • At risk populations (CSW, fisherfolk)
  • Substance abuse
  • Analyses of economic aspects of service provision (including cost effectiveness studies)
